Video trailers for theatre - the view from the US

Thanks to my good friend Ben Lalague for pointing me in the direction of this article from the NY Times on the subject of video trailers being used to promote theatre. There are four examples, the one from Ghost being the most conventional. The others take quite different approaches with interesting results. The videos from NewYorkLand and Outside People are quite cinematic while the one for Penelope is quite imaginative in its approach, using animation and South Park style voices.

In the comments there is a link to a very impressive trailer for a production of The Wonderful World of Dissocia (see below). I don't know the show so I can't judge it as a trailer for the production but it is a neat piece of work.
